ABOUT NOVEL GAMES

Novel Games is the brain-child of homeschool graduates Moira Ward and Tobias Davis. Founded on the ideals of curiosity, inclusivity, and joy, Novel Games seeks to provide a space of safety and enjoyment for all of our players.

At our tables, we encourage all players - new or experienced, young or old - to explore a world where anything is possible and you are the hero of your own story. If you're looking for magic, adventure, or a little bit of hope, come and join us.

We can't wait to see what stories you'll tell.

MOIRA WARD

Game Runner, Story Teller, and Co-Founder
She/Her/Hers or They/Them/Theirs

A life-long storyteller, Moira has been running Dungeons and Dragons since early 2019, and has been in love with the game for much longer. As a homeschool graduate, Moira believes in letting children lead their education and follow their passions. Dungeons and Dragons lets kids become the hero, or villain, of their own story. At her table, kindness and ingenuity are encouraged, and the rules of the game are secondary to fostering the creativity and joy of her players.

When not playing or plotting new games, Moira spends her time writing novels, making music, and dreaming of new worlds.

TOBIAS DAVIS

Game Runner, World Smith, and Co-Founder
They/Them/Theirs or He/Him/His

Tobias has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since 2015, and first started writing his own games in 2018. It was his campaign that first introduced Moira to the game, and most Novel Games adventures are set in their world, Anthara. A homeschool graduate, Tobias is a visual artist and amateur fantasy cartographer - most of the maps used in Novel Games adventures are his creations. At his table, creativity and fun are top priority, with the rulebook taking a backseat to whimsy and joy.

When not creating new adventures, Tobias can be found in craft stores or working on his latest art piece.
